Chaco Casual

Hi everyone! I hope you had a great week! I just finished my 3rd week of school and i'm so excited for fall! The 1st few weeks of school my outfits were pretty fancy but now that all the tests, homework, and projects have started the comfy clothes have come out! My go to comfy casual outfit is typically a preppy t-shirt, norts (Nike shorts) or leggings, and Chacos! My school has recently become pretty strict about dress code but thankfully my Nike shorts are long enough! I had one of my friends over yesterday after school and we had similar outfits so we had to do a photo shoot! I know Chacos are not for everyone but they have to be the most comfortable shoes I own!
Enjoy!

{Lilly + Lillie} #afterpartysale

Hi everyone! Today my sister and I wanted to show ya'll some of our Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale purchases that we wore today! My sister's name is Lillie and she's in 7th grade and yes I known we kinda look like twins! This was the 1st shipment we received from The Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale and we couldn't be more excited! I ended up giving my sister her gift early because she had been nagging about it ever since I told her we got her something from the sale. I got the Cala Skort in Hotty Pink Get Crackin and she got the Little Lowe Peplum Dress in Pb Pink Shes A Fox! I honestly was as excited about her new dress as she was! My Floppy hat was actually such a great deal and it was less than $15 including the monogram! It was from Viv and Lou and I will definitely be purchasing more things from them! I'm so excited to get the rest of my After Party Sale Lilly items!
What did ya'll get from the sale?
Enjoy!

Pattern Party // Happy Birthday Caroline!

Hey Ya'll! Today I went to a birthday party for my friend Caroline! You might know her on instagram as @carolinegraceprep and ya'll should totally go follow her! Her party was so cute and fun! We had brunch at the (Swan) Coach House which is a quintessentially Southern place in Buckhead! The Swan House is a mansion built in 1928 and they also filmed part of Catching Fire there! Thanks so much for inviting me Caroline! I had such a great time!
Here are some pictures from the party!

Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale Haul!

As many of you know today was the 1st day of the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale. This sale also used to be called The End of Summer Sale. This is one of only 2 times a year Lilly goes on sale online, the other being, The New Year Cheers Sale. The best time to shop these sales is within the first 10 minutes because things sell out FAST! I ended up missing school for it and I'm glad I did! This sale lasts 3 days from August 18th to August 20th.

These Sales have reputations of the site crashing however thankfully this year I personally had no problems with this. The only regret I have is not buying more things quick because if it is in your cart that doesn't mean anything. I had 2 or 3 things that evaporated out of my cart this year. I always say fall is a great time to get Lilly on sale so even if you don't buy anything now, most Lilly Pulitzer, Lilly Signature Stores, and department stores that carry Lilly always have it on sale in the fall and winter.

Here are most of my purchases from The After Party Sale!

Janice Shift Dress in She She Shells
It was only $69 originally $198

Cala Skort in Hotty Pink Get Crackin
It was only $39 originally $68

Callahan Shorts in Resort White Crystal Coast Mini
It was only $39 originally $64

Call me Wallet in Iris Blue Mai Tai
It was only $19 originally $68

Charlotte Wristlet Phone Case in Limeade Roar Of The Jungle
It was only $19 originally $58

Update:

I saw on instagram that they added a Mystery Murfee scarf to the sale so I snatched one up quick! They sold out in like 20 minutes! I'm so excited to see what print it is when it arrives in a few days! The best part was that it was only $24 and they originally go for $118!

I got one more thing as a gift for my sister but she reads the blog so ya'll won't see it until September!

What did ya'll get from the sale?

New Lilly Agenda + tips

Yay! It's finally August 1st which means today is the 1st day of using my new Lilly Pulitzer Agenda! This year I decided to downsize to the small agenda because I really didn't need all the space the large one had to offer! It took me a few weeks to decide which print I want because all of them are so cute! This year I went with Jellies Be Jammin and I couldn't be happier! I ended up buying it on National Wear Your Lilly Day because it came with a necklace gift with purchase.

Tip #1
Write It Down
If you are like me I have to write it down or say it to remember it.

Tip#2
Cross It Off
For me it really helps me when I cross it off or highlight it whenever I am done.

Tip#3
Write study reminders
If you have a test on Monday, write down "Study For Test" on Friday or the weekend because if I don't I will get to class on Monday and not know there is a test.

Tip#4
Write down what makes you happy or lifts you up
During the middle of the school year or just life in general can get very hectic and overwhelming so write down a motivational quote or a bible verse to help you realize its going to be okay. It helps me put things into perspective and realize I have nothing to worry or stress about!
My go to verse to write down is
"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." ~1 Peter 5:7
