Vineyard Vines Whale

The Vineyard Vines Whale has been traveling down the east coast on its way to The Kentucky Derby. I am so lucky to live just a short way from the Vineyard Vines store in Atlanta and was able to visit with this adorable Whale! They had some of the Derby Stickers in the store that were Adorable, so I had to get some! I have also been loving their Kentucky Derby Collection this year and already have an adorable hat from it to wear this summer!

Leigh Deux

I love decorating my room with bold colors and fun prints! When I found Leigh Deux, I fell in love with all their patterns and styles! Leigh Deux (pronounced Lee-Do) is a dorm and home decor company founded to create fun and unique dorm and home decor. After all their logo has a tassel in it so I knew I would Love it! 

One of my favorite pieces from their dorm and home decor collection is Headboard Pillows! I think it's such a unique idea that's perfect for dorms! I definitely plan on getting one of these when I go to college in a mere 2 years (crazy right!) I also love their poufs and pillows that feature adorable tassels!

As y'all probably know Lilly For Target happened on April 19th starting around 1 am. I was on #lillyfortarget from around 1-4am trying to keep up with all the shopping news. I ended up getting lucky and finding the "backdoor" to the sale around 1 am. Thankfully I got everything on my wishlist except a few things online so I only needed to pick up a few things in store. After going to bed at 4 am and waking up at 7 am, I headed over to my local target at 7:50 only to find over 100 people lined up ready to shop. Once the clock struck 8 the sprint to the Lilly begun and I went straight to womens section and was soon in the middle of the madness. I was not ready for what I saw! I guess I'm not cut out for black Friday level shopping. Luckily my mom had more luck in the kids and home sections and grabbed dresses, shorts, tops, mugs, and on impulse the last Pom Pom chair. Literally everything was gone within 10 minutes. I was really surprised that my Target practically only had one item of each size. After we gathered out loot we headed over to the fitting rooms where the only line was for the returns instead of for the actual fitting rooms. All in all I was happy with what I got and thankful with my online success. 

I ended up mostly shopping from the girls section since I'm 5'1 and can fit in girls xl. The Girls Maxi Dress in My Fans fit me perfectly. If you are on the shorter side and wear a adult xs or s this dress will work for you. I also got the Girls Pom Pom Shorts in My Fans which fit but are a bit short even on me.

A Golden Day

California Days 3 & 4

On the 3rd day my family and I were in California we drove back up to San Francisco to visit with my cousins.  It was so fun to meet up in CA when they live in NJ and we live in GA.  :)  It was such  a special treat to check into the Ritz Carlton!  We spent the afternoon sightseeing and then had a delicious dinner in a restaurant  that overlooked the Pacific Ocean.  

The 4th day started out by eating a quick breakfast at Crissy field and then walking across the Golden Gate Bridge. After we walked across the bridge we headed over to an adorable town called Tiburon. We ate lunch and then shopped at the Vineyard Vines on the main street. We then went over to Fisherman's Wharf and very entertained by a bunch of funny Sea Lions.

Sheep by the Sea

California Day 2

The second day of my Spring Break in Carmel was spent finding new adventures and exploring new places. 

My family and I started out the day by hiking in Point Lobos State Reserve. It was absolutely magnificent and looked straight out of a movie! The colors of the water were so vivid and amazing! One of the hike's we did featured hundreds of sea lions by the water!

We then grabbed a bite to eat, walked around the shops, and visited some of my favorite stores! They had an adorable J crew that's aka J crew By The Sea, which features beach appropriate items, an Anthropologie, and a Kate Spade, where I finally got to see all the scalloped items in person (I was so excited I had to Instagram it). 

We ended the night by heading over to Mission Ranch, a hotel and restaurant owned by Clint Eastwood, for a light dinner on the porch overlooking the Sheep by the Ocean. It had a beautiful view and so many adorable white houses that they use for their guest rooms!
